Free Skype Recording Software

This program comes highly recommended from Norbert, host of the Norbtek.info Podcast. "PodProducer is a really cool program in its own right for producing podcasts (not editing thought). I configured it for "What you hear" and then went into the Windows "Record/Playback" Control panel and configured it in the record mode to use "what you hear" as well. My MP3 file does a step by step on what to do, check it out. I also use an old MP3 with line-in recording capabilities as a backup hooked to a splitter cable on the headphones. I tested the system a few times by calling my own home and mock interviewing my wife so I could set the volume levels as I wanted the Skype level higher and my level a bit lower to sound equal. 2 or 3 tests and things were pretty close. I could have worked a bit more on it, but everything was clear. A good Skype connection is critical for a good recording."
